11 teams took part in Dong Nai Newspaper’s 8th Football Cup 2010 for kids (at the age of 11)

Mr. Tran Huy Thanh, chief-editor of Dong Nai Newspaper, was giving keepsake flags to teams.

    The competition included 11 football teams which were divided into 3 groups: group A (including Thong Nhat, Vinh Cuu and Xuan Loc), group B (including Trang Bom, Cam My, Dinh Quan and Long Thanh) and group C (including Long Khanh, Nhon Trach, Tan Phu and Bien Hoa). The teams would play in a round-robin tournament that chooses two top teams of each group and two best third teams to compete in the quarter-final, semi-final and final.

    Right after the opening ceremony, the champion team Thong Nhat defeated Vinh Cuu 5-1. As known, the final match and the awarding ceremony will occur on August 8 morning.
