On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2011, Deputy Director of J-Spiral Steel Pipe Co. Ltd Morioka Nobuhiro paid a courtesy to Dong Nai provincial leadership on the morning of January 19.

At the meeting, Mr. Morioka expressed his gratitude to Dong Nai’s functional agencies for supporting and assisting the company in its development process.

He said that he was delighted to set up a steel plant in Dong Nai, which begins to show positive signs.

This steel plant would contribute to promoting the province’s infrastructure development, he added.

Thereby, he expected that there would be a long-term partnership between Dong Nai and J-Spiral Steel Pipe.

Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People’s Committee Vo Van Mot highly appreciated Japanese investors’ achievements and seriousness during their investment process in Dong Nai, especially those of J-Spiral Steel Pipe.

Mot pledged that Dong Nai would strive to give assistance to and offer a good and open investment environment to businesses, which will contribute to the effective implementation of the province’s “Government is a companion of businesses” motto.

It is known that J-Steel Spiral Pipe is a major steel manufacturer in Japan.

It was founded by three investors: JFE Steel Corporation, Maruichi Steel Pipe Company and Toyota Tsusho Company.

It has an initial capital of approximately US$16.5 million.
